Megan founded Bright Law LLC after earning a reputation as a fearless leader implementing legal and intellectual property strategies for cannabis and financial services firms. She’s identified a need for businesses and entrepreneurs to receive legal advice that is tailored to their unique business strategies and size. At Bright Law, Megan delivers custom legal and intellectual property strategies to support her clients’ unique goals and build for successful future growth.

After spending several years in financial services, Megan entered the cannabis space in 2016, when the industry was still in its infancy. Navigating businesses’ legal issues in highly regulated spaces is not for the faint of heart, and between her time in FinTech and cannabis, she is prepared to advocate on behalf of any business.

In addition to a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Megan earned her Masters in Intellectual Property Management and Markets from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Her background and experience are unique, in that they have integrated perspectives and skills from the key disciplines encompassing technology and corporate law, and this allows her to deliver custom legal strategies aligned with businesses’ needs.
